Corsaidi Fitness (formerly known as Elite Private Fitness) partnered with the British Medical Association/British Medical Journal employee gym in 2017 to provide consultation services for gym layout, design, equipment, and health and safety.

In May 2017, the Head of UK Estates for the BMA, Ian Wade, inaugurated a 120 sqm staff gym in the Tavistock House basement.

The gym has been a huge success with over 500 building-based staff members using it. According to Wade, they need to follow their core value of ‘looking after doctors so they can look after you.’ The idea of a healthy workforce equalling happy people, who in turn will be more productive, was on top of their agenda as they believe in promoting a workplace wellbeing ethos.
